Princess Cruises prides itself on offering passengers delicious food throughout their sailings, morning through night. They have various options, from cookies and milk to four-course dinners that are paired with fine wines.
All Princess Cruises ships have a grand dining room where you are served on white table clothes with the finer touches. Princess Cruises offers passengers the choice of a traditional dining time, eating at the same time and at the same table with the same waiter and tablemates every night. However, you can also choose anytime dining where you eat at any time with new tablemates and a new waiter each night. Breakfast is available in the main dining room from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch is available most days. Anytime Dining is available from 5:30 to 10 p.m. On most Princess ships the traditional dining times are as follows:

Aboard select Princess Ships, Wheelhouse Bar is The Salty Dog. With a gourmet twist on pub food, Chef Ernesto Uchimura has created a menu of savory dishes accompanied by beer, wine or a variety of cocktails. SHARE by Curtis Stone is a dining experience unique to the sea. In a 6 course meal, acclaimed chef Curtis Stone pairs fresh ingredients with the finest wines to craft an unforgettable meal. In the main dining room, menu items curated by Stone will have their own section, "Crafted."
Chef Richard Chen, the former chef of the sole Chinese restaurant in North America to have a Michelin star, brings his signature use of duck to sea to create cuisine that can only be found at Harmony.
In a casual, bistro-style setting, passengers enjoy French dishes created by Chef Emmanual Renaut, who was named Best Craftsman of France for his restaurants on land.

Youth Programs
Princess Cruises offers youth programs for children aged 3 and up on all of their ships, except the Ocean Princess and Pacific Princess. These two smaller ships will have programming if there are 20 or more children aged 3-17 on a sailing. The youth center and teen lounges are open from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. and then from 6 to 10 p.m. on sea days. On port days the hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 6 to 10 p.m.
Princess Cruises' youth program, Camp Discovery, features the perfect mix of entertainment and education. Children participating in the program, as young as age 3, will have access to crafts and structured activities, all under the careful supervision of Princess' youth caretakers. For ages 3-7, this center offers fun, bright colors with lessons and hands-on activities centered on the exotic creatures that adorn the walls.
Children ages 8-12 will thrive in this center themed like an outdoor adventure. With activities like air hockey, foosball and video games, parents can enjoy a relaxing day knowing their children are well taken care of and entertained.
Teens will feel right at home in this contemporary lounge, perfectly designed for meeting new friends and hanging out. At night, teens have events like Rock The Boat Party to keep the fun going.
Children aged 3 to 7 are grouped as Princess Pelicans and are entertained with programs like Kindermusik at Sea, pajama parties and art projects. Shockwaves is the group for children aged 8 to 12. This supervised program has children participate in sports tournaments, a program called Jr.CHEF@Sea and scavenger hunts.
Teenagers get their own lounge where they can relax with less of a structured set of activities, but lots to keep them excited, from foosball to Nintendo Wii games. They also have events like “mocktail” competitions and hip hop dance classes.
From the hours of 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. the ship’s youth staff offers group kidsitting for children ages 3 to 12. It costs $5 per hour, per child.
Princess has partnered with the California Science Center to provide nature and science based activities like chemistry experiments and roller coaster building. They also have a program called Pete’s Pals, which teaches kids about endangered species. On Alaska cruises kids can participate in the National Park Service Junior Ranger Program.
